Providing Support and Examples for Teaching Linear Equations in Secondary School: the Role of Knowledge of Mathematics Teaching

We present evidence of a secondary school teacher’s Knowledge Mathematics Teaching when she teaches linear equations in word problem setting. focus on analyzing the examples and mathematics support that provides her students with during two classes. When faced contingencies, takes decisions whereby adapts or creates emerging action plans order to enrich help overcome their difficulties learn equations.
